The time trial is in Lausanne. You can see the passing showers on the map. Expect them to get heavier as the day progresses, but many may still miss the prologue location.

Verbrugge in the Giro in 2001 was about 60 kmh or even faster.

Think they did it in the Giro circa '87. Riders complained the organisers were trying to kill them.
