+1 and I hope that he'll be able to perform well in europe.
Dani Moreno is always strong in San Luis, too bad that Funvic wasn't invited.

Insanely strong lineup for San Luis. Here's to hope that Dayer Quintana will have a better season than last year and that Betancur already in this race will show signs of 2013 shape.

From the brief glimpses on Instagram, Fat Cat appears to be slimmer so far this year. Let's hope he makes it through Christmas OK.

Isn't Nibali riding this race, or did I just imagine that?

Inteja-MMR and Brazil national team will participate, for a total of 29 teams (a door opens for Diniz, Kleber Ramos, Prado... and probably Gaspar, Chiarello and Manarelli)

Believe they said they will at least take 4 U23 riders, though I saw it a while back and I am not 100% certain. Hope the other 2 are Diniz and Ramos. From the U23 riders I hope to see Caio Godoy he had a really unlucky year in 2015 with two times a broken collarbone (basically only did some racing at the end of the year) but he is a talented rider.

Kleber Ramos is selected for La Tropicale Amissa Bongo which would mean no San Luis for him :(

Carapaz will ride! I am sure he wants to be good here as it might be one of the only races he can prove himself with the European pro teams there. The team only got the invite the invite for the race today though (instead of the Colombian selection) so I hope for Carapaz he has had a good winter.

Dani Diaz writes this on his blog:

Does that mean he is out of the race :(? Or just that he is not sure about his form anymore because of the crash.

I understand that he said that he is disappointed to be out of the race because he thinks that this race days would do good things to his condition ahead of San Luis.

So Ben King was supposed to ride but now is out due to an injury. May hamper Cannondale in TTT depending on who his replacement is.
It seems it's Andre Cardoso and it actually WILL hamper them in TTT quite badly (isn't he possibly the worst TT-ist in the whole team?).

Cannondale always sucks in TTT's so I don't think it will matter much anyway. I actually didn't even know there was a TTT in San Luis.
