Tour de Suisse 2014: Stage 3, Sarnen - Heiden 203km

Nothing here that would scare me if I was Costa or Kreuziger. Not that I don't think he is a great rider and climber, but Ryo looks to quite sure of the fact that he is better than Kreuziger and Costa, and I can't see the evidence for it.

Im not so sure about,Kreuziger,thats a almost even when both are topform,but i am sure he is better climber than Costa.

You're really bringing Tour of Utah as evidence of being great at climbing?
I honestly thought Henao had better results than this on longer climbs. I can think of at least 30 riders who are better climbers than him.

Ok,name me 30 better climbers after Tour.
Its like say before Giro that Arredondo is worse climber than Kiserlovski..Henao just didnt have a many opportunities to show results when in topform (last year was crap form admit,but you cant compare this)

I know Henao is a good climber and has the ability to achieve great things, but at the moment it's just impossible to claim he's a better cyclist than Kreuziger or Costa.

You are probably right about doing the evaluation right now. The thing is that I just don't consider Costa to be a great climber anyway. So this is the disconnect that I have in making this comparison.

Henao was doing great climbing in 2012 and was having a good year in 2013 until all of a sudden everything fell apart in the Giro. He never could recover from there. So it kind of stuck in people's minds that he was not a great climber. So he kind of needs to proof himself again. But I believe that he is a better climber than what people think. But to be honest there is not enough history to back it up (pro-Tour results).

So we need more time to make a comparison. Don't forget that Kreuziger has been in the pro-tour much longer than Henao and he was being deemed a bust until the breakout performance in the Tour.

Ryo has an issue against Nibali and Kreuziger.

I know the issue with Kreuziger was that he said something about Clinic stuff on Rujano. That did it for Ryo.

ok,I'll give you a short answer,cuz its not worth more if you meant it serious
He was better in TA this year with margin of 27secs on Kiserlovski in total of 2 mountain stages.
Cataluna,sick and fatigued due to early start of the season (Kiserlovski started right before TA)
Giro - do I have to explain this,we all saw it clearly?
3rd place on Viggiano,worse on montecopiolo cuz riding solo from 30k before finish and almost won.then resting and collecting kom points,and stage 18 he destroyed everyone on Panarotta when there were clearly fresher riders.
Terrific climbing display,nothing more to say,Kiserlovski sucked wheels except of one stage,in addition to that he was dead in last two stages.

No,no you can't compare Betancur case with Schleck,not yet.I'm convinced Betancur will prevail,no way he'll end up like Andy.The problem with Andy,is that he was top GT material,so is normal that people can't accept his lack of results.

These. You could argue Kreuz, but I'm definitely not buying Costa at this point.

Maybe in these kind of parcours but definitely not in the big Mountain stages

henao is a climber more than anything. unlike costa and kreuziger who suffer in high altitude. do I have to remind anyone at stelvio 2012 henao?
