Haven’t got a good view of Andresen before, is he more a punchy sprinter or also good in flat sprints? Was not an easy stage today and he looks half the man of De Lie from the overhead view.

He was a monster on my PCM team but haven’t seen him much on tv, only in Turkey I think.

I don't think he has the top speed (yet) on pure flat sprints after an easy day, so i would say a bit more punchy. Andresen was a super talent in the juniors, it took a while before he broke through.

Does a strong breakaway (with Cort perhaps) stand a chance tomorrow? There is 40 kilometers to the finish line from the last 12.5 percent climb. I think it's the last chance if Uno-X want to have a go at the GC win, without hoping for miracles in the sprints. Søren Kragh, Anders Foldager - they must also see the hills at Maglesø as their last chance. A successful late attack on the (flat) circuits in Holbæk and Gladsaxe is an option too, but that will definitely not move them up the GC.

Lots of hidden climbs there. A shame we don't have Bjerg anymore. He would have attacked.

There is not just Magelsø and Brorfeldebakken but Enghave bakken as well.

Cort just isn't dropping De Lie there. De LIe also has a pretty strong team.

His best chance is to go for the sprint tomorrow and be the best positioned sprinter. Final looks really technical, bit too much for me even. Double 90 degree corner with little over 300m to go, small road before than and even more 90 degree corners before that. It will be all about positioning and UNO X has been doing a good job regarding that all year. Cort might not be superb at it himself either, but he was doing good at Denmark and today and has the experience. There's definitely a chance he outperforms De Lie tomorrow in a sprint.

I would be good if they go hard on those hills tho thin out the peloton tho. 90 degree corners every 300m and small city roads are not made for a big peloton.

And De Lie has the stronger leadout train, Cort's leadout seems weak in this race.

A pity that Leknessund is 1:20 behind in the general classification - not really a threat in the GC if he attacks , but maybe still an option as in Vejle.

Cort was beaten in an uphill sprint by De Lie today, so his chances in a flat sprint appear even more slim now. Tactically it will be easy for De Lie to just stay in Cort's wheel on the last two stages, as that will secure him the victory even if he is beaten by Cort.

Cort is one of the strongest breakaway riders in the race (and in world cycling in general, when he's in form as he is now), so I think he should consider trying something. I can't see him losing his 2nd place anyway.

That sounds really dumb. Why would he say that??
His point was that there were much more points at stake on the finish line than in the bonus sprint.

Maybe he forgot that if he finishes close to De Lie (as he did today), then the points difference at the finish is just as big as in the bonus sprints.

Nygaard's comment after the interview clearly indicated that he found Cort's view on the matter a bit odd.

If it's a 1v1 pure on strength/sprintspeed Cort isn't beating him on these 2 stages, but my point is that tomorows final circuit is so technical that luck will play a factor, it's imo definitely his best shot. attacking with like 50k to go is just mission impossible.

And if Leknessund goes Lotto just sends Berckmoes with him.

When there's an intermediate with like 110km to go and you're at 0s in GC you obviously go for it. Don't even need to try to beat De Lie, at least come 2nd. It could make a big difference in the end and when it's so far from the finish line it's really not going to hinder your sprint in the end to just try to sprint a bit.

The 3 climbs on the 10.5k circuit. It's gonna be up and down on twisty roads for almost 40 kilometers.

These small hills are actually great for explosive attacks. Possibly better than the longer effort climbs in Vejle.
