Did Nordhaug just win the race for De Maar by sprinting for 3rd :eek:

He almost brought up Paterski to the group in the last hill aswell..

Nordhaug told he he had great legs and was frustrated with the road markings. No 1KM left marking, so he thought he had 500m more..

Amongst the young Norwegians, I expect the most from Odd Christian Eiking. One of the strongest in the world championships last year, and proved to be in fine form last weekend with 4th in Hadeland GP and 5th in Ringerike GP. He's an explosive and well-rounded climber who's very well suited to this course.
Pretty happy about this prediction...too bad he screwed it all up by crashing in the final corner

Does he have the memory of a goldfish? They did the finishing loop twice...

The sign was actually removed after the first lap, thats why he was frustrated. Should be possible to remember the last K anyhow :p

Lol that guy is nothing but a disaster for Belkin.
That's a bit harsh, he was Mollema's best domestique in the Ardennes (by far) and has animated the finale of two monuments this year. Also one of Belkin's strongest mountain domestiques in TDF last year, by for example pacing Mollema up more or less the entire Alpe d'Huez (and pacing Ten Dam up the entire climb on the last MTF).

So I wouldn't say he's a disaster just because he's a bit ambitious in his home race.

He himself isn't a disaster, but apart from a few good things he's done for some Belkin teammates (they didn't even sign him as a domestique) the guy races like a total idiot.

Very strong sprint by Kristoff after coming back from the hill. Gotta say this is turning into a fine week race.

Oh and congrats to CCC Polsat, they were "on" the entire race.

Final GC:
1 Maciej Paterski (Pol) CCC Polsat Polkowice 21:14:56
2 Marc De Maar (Ned) UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team 0:00:03
3 Bauke Mollema (Ned) Belkin Pro Cycling Team 0:00:09
4 Gustav Larsson (Swe) IAM Cycling 0:00:09
5 Gerald Ciolek (GER) MTN - Qhubeka 0:00:15
6 Jesper Hansen (Den) Tinkoff Saxo 0:00:18
7 Peio Bilbao (Esp) Caja Rural - Seguros RGA 0:00:21
8 Bjørn Tore Nilsen Hoem (Nor) Team Sparebanken Sør 0:00:21
9 Jérôme Baugnies (Bel) Wanty - Groupe Gobert 0:00:26
10 Sven Erik Bystrom (Nor) Team Oster Hus - Ridley 0:00:27

Finally 6 man teams FTW.
