Hopefully there's no long term problem with the Cali world cup. It'd be a shame, the South Americans, the Colombians in particular, have had some great results at this world cup.

Cali just launched an application to the UCI to host the Track World Championships in either 2014, 2015 or 2016. Given the attendance this weekend (again, like the other World Cups, seemingly much better attended than the last two World Championships) and the rocking atmosphere when the Colombians were riding, I for one hope they get it.
