Saturday 18 February

Sunday 19 February

1445-1800, BBC Two1445-1800, BBC Red Button (rrom 1530 on Freeview) & BBC Sport website.

Does anybody know any foreign stations also showing them? Just that i dont have sky so wont be able to use the red button option. I watch loads of cycling on 19.2 - Eurosport Germany - usually, but they dont seem to be showing it.

What are the main events being shown live on BBC during these time slots?

Ive written previews for Friday and Saturday so far, that go through which events are shown each day.

Friday: http://sumofmarc.blogspot.com/2012/02/preview-london-track-cycling-world-cup_14.html
Saturday: http://sumofmarc.blogspot.com/2012/02/preview-london-track-cycling-world-cup_15.html

Theres a schedule showing the order of events on each day, but not saying which will take place during the BBC slots: http://www.londonpreparesseries.com/documents/track-cycling/twc-confirmed-timetable.pdf

And if you live in Britain, you can watch all of the Red Button stuff online, on the BBC website

Thanks for that, good read.

Seems that the Red Button coverage is on Freeview so i should be able to see a fair bit! Looking forward to it, especially after attending the Rotterdam 6 days in Jan.

The team pursuit should be interesting although I can't see anyone beating the Aussies.

Its going to be interesting. The Brits have certainly been working hard at it, we'll find out tonight whether theyre good enough to challenge the Aussies. (Although I dont think its quite the full strength Aussie team - no Bobridge or Cam Meyer)

Think GB said they were looking to be 3:56 or 3:57, so a little disappointing.
The Aussies only just break 3'-58", so very little in it.
GB v Oz final.
NZ v.......................er Belgium for 3rd.
Russia had a mare.
The track may not be quite as fast as expected?

Bit annoying that the final isn't until Sunday. Should be good though.

Think of it this way, it allows plenty of recovery time, so theyll both be able to ride the final flat out.

Doesnt annoy me though, since Im not there on Friday, but am on Sunday! :p

You're a lucky fella. Is Sunday the only day you'll be there?

Women's Team Sprint Qualifying:
1) Australia: 18.510" - 32.828" New World Record
2) GB: 18.885" - 32.966" UK Record
3) China 33.178"
4) France 33.516"

Vicky P's split 14.081" to Caarle M's 14.318", so Anna M remains the queen of the start lap.
Maybe more to come, too.

Jake humphrey really does get on everything these days... send him back to newsround

Now the BBC have completely given up on sports coverage, they just have 1 presenter for everything.

I should say, as an aside, I'm glad they've given up as their coverage is terrible, and I have sky, who tend to do a top notch job at whatever sport they choose to cover.

Is there much of a crowd there?

Yes............but I'm not one of them. Should have been there all weekend.:(

Right, after the ball.........Vicky P scratches the sprint and leaves young Jess V to pick up the pieces.

Leads me to think that either her confidence is still fragile, or that Becky J will be riding the Worlds/Olympics, if/when she gets over her op.
Could she really be pining it all on the one, team event?
