Trek Domane 4.7

Can anyone owning a Trek Domane provide any insights on the pros and cons?

Don't own one but have ridden one and had a good look over it.

The geometry suggests longer miles in more comfort, and I have to say that it is exceptionally comfortable on crappy roads. I'd be happy to sit on this all day long. The Ultegra 11 stuff is slick, the brakes are excellent.

Wheels are possibly a bit better than what youd expect on a bike of this price point in terms of possibly longevity. What I mean by this is that the spokes are standard rather than being proprietary straight pulls.

If you want an ultra stiff race machine for short rides there will be other machines out there that would please more. But for a nippy mile eater I'd say its competitive.
