Unbound 2025

I know it's a bit off still, but my wife is riding the 200 this year. I didn't get a spot in the lottery, BUT, I am working the event so that I get an automatic spot in 2026. I picked working at the first rest stop the early shift, and the 2nd rest stop in the early to late afternoon...so, that means I will be there for the leaders coming through both stops. I'm hoping to be able to post updates from there on race day, with pictures. I'm actually excited to see if there are some late entry Pro Tour riders that show up. <fingers crossed> I'll also be crewing for my wife at Leadville, so I'll be at the turn around spot for that, so I'll also have a great view of the leaders when they come in and leave.

I am super stoked for you and your wife. Sounds like everything is going right!!
If you are anything like me 2026 is still not enough time to train and get ready!! Just assuming that you have had endless discussions about logistics, but you being there to crew is a mountainous confidence builder!! I know I feel better knowing who is doing my feed!! And in these super long difficult races a missed feed, pit stop w clothing or cleaning, tire, more supplies, lube , some encouragement.. Maybe the difference between good and bad.
These races have a deep positive spirit, so you are likely to find help with out on the course support, giving you the bag you prepared. Still going as a single racer for a 200 mile event is staggering.
