US Nationals - Live on the Net

Was a nice muddy route. What stroke me is how wide the routes are in the US compared to Belgium. But it's not surprising of course. :p

Just wonder why JPow did not take his time to put his chain back on the spot where he fell instead of running.

Could someone tell me more about the co-commentator who seems to have been a team mate of Todd Wells'?

Mark Gullickson was one of the commentators. He's an ex-pro cx'er and mtb'er who is now one of the US selectors for the World Champs squad. He may even be the USAC Cross Coordinator. I thought that his commentary was quite insightful and he had me laughing with his comments about the Speedo clad fan!

I was actually really dissapointed with the course, 99% of it look rideable with only really the steps and one set of planks forcing any sort of dismount.

That said it did cut up more and get muddier as the race went on.

but, good on usa cycling for showing it on the net. Think they pulled in 7000 viewers. Which doesnt sound much, but i guess for a niche sport its not bad.
