heres a mini league code as usual if you guys want in ----

League name: CN Fans
League Code: 06175926

My awesome team :)
Porte
Contador
Nieve
Kiryienka
Demare
Voeckler
Yates
Gerrans
Talansky

I don't know who'll win out of Froome and Contador and i didn't include Nibali or TJVG who i think can also challenge. Chose Kiri and Nieve just from the points they'll receive helping Froome and Porte could be up there on the Classification too. I'm expecting Demare to win most of the sprints and Voeckler and Gerrans to win a stage. Talansky and Yates for the top 10/ maybe a stage...

Oh that's cool. And that site has games like this for all the bigger stage races? I looked at some of the games in this forum sub-section. And they looked very interesting, although perhaps a bit too hard-core for a novice like me to jump into right away. But setting up that quick and simple game seems like a perfect introduction into my future dominant fantasy cycling/whatever career.

I started off pretty conservative for my first line-up though, preferring low-risk ITT and lower top20 guys over stage-hunters etc. It won't win me the thing, but hopefully it's gonna save me from being last :p

Christopher Froome SKY 26
Alberto Contador TST 22
Daniel Navarro COF 8
Romain Bardet ALM 12
Zdenek Stybar OPQ 6
Gustav Erik Larsson IAM 4
Carlos Verona OPQ 4
Jesus Hernandez TST 4
Michal Kwiatkowski OPQ 14

Didn't really think much about this.
Used about 5 minutes to select my team.

Froome/Contador for the overall of course
Can Navarro/Bardet do anything in the mountains (i really have no idea)
Stybar, i need a cheap sprinter
Larsson, one of the 4 point dudes i have heard about before
Verona, don't know who he is, someone on the forum mentioned him
Hernandez, assist points for contador
Kwiatkowski, had a good year so far, intresting to see what he can do here

Hah just looked again and my first try is not going too bad at all. Contador, Talansky, JVDB, Bardet, Westra and Spilak have all given good points to me.
Just how much I regret now taking Navardauskas over Bakelants as my breakaway guy though, they were both 8p and I went in with blind love and zero intel for N :p

14p for Kwiatkowski is my biggest flop I guess, could have gotten freaking Kelderman for that! But that one I didn't see coming naive me. Same for picking expensive spriner in Demare, didn't see so few sprits coming esp with what he has to prove here. Well, I guess 1 more stage still left, but pretty sure I will finish in top half my first try.

Also sad Suisse one started already, I can't get to study from final results and see what mistakes I did in my line of thinking. Also Suisse one costs seemed so much steeper, couldn't get most of first choices for different positions and had make hard compromises, much more balanced costs I guess. Unlike in Dauphine where it seemed almost the opposite.

I'm pretty pleased with how this one went. Finished up #2 in our league and #30 overall by the end. Considering my lineup had 3 riders worth 32 budget points which got me less than 70 points combined, I'm left here wondering what could have been lol. But I guess I can't really complain :p

Makes watching races even more interesting for sure this kind of stuff. And by next season, when I'm hopefully tad more knowledge about riders, I will likely also try my hand in those other more complicated year-long games you have set up here in forums.

But for now Suisse time. I was really down on my lineup on that one after race started and I had looked it over again(drunk-picked it friday night). Couldn't get any proper line-up together I remember, had to pick some random guys like Meyer for 4p etc to make compromises, just so I could overpay for the overpriced Costa(compared to Mollema) and waste a wild-card pick on a overpriced 3rd choice sprinter within its team who shouldn't score me a single point. But who knows eh, maybe it's gonna work out for me.
