I'm content with my second place after a strong push in the Alps, but chapeau to the HotspursVelo team. A win by 600 some points is impressive!

I ended up 14th in the CN forum league pretty good in the end. Was looking disastrous at one point with a lot of my riders out. First in my country too:D

I ended up quite high if you consider half of my team did absolutely nothing

Same goes for my team (a bit).

I ended up coming 67th overall (3rd in the forum league), got as high as 3rd overall up to the Pyrenees.

Rider / Cost Team TOTAL
Andy SCHLECK [24] LEO 1521
Cadel EVANS [20] BMC 2199
Jurgen VAN DEN BROECK [16] OLO 211
Jérôme COPPEL [8] SAU 127
Jose Joaquin ROJAS [6] MOV 975
Philippe GILBERT [8] OLO 1054
Peter VELITS [6] THR 572
Chris HORNER [6] RSH 82
Romain FEILLU [6] VCD 459

Horner and Van den Broek were significant losses. Feillu also withdrew but he did at least reward me with a decent amount of points for his price before he did. Coppell managed to score incredibly poorly for someone who managed to come 14th overall.

Aw shucks, thanks! Rojas was my last pick and only just shaded it from Ventoso after winning the Spanish champs (and fortunately by about 800pts)...
Chapeaux owed only to TdF 2011 for being so unpredictable!

Stages 18-20 were incredible. Would have been better if young Shrek could have stayed close enough in the TT that there was tension after Cadel's first 15km.
But the distance between me and FujiTourers was 80 points. A wash, really. You were 600 past us and that's just awesome, unpredictable or no. Sure, it's mostly a difference of one good pick, but well done, man.

Now I go back to lurker mode. Thanks to George Chapman for running this.

I am so annoyed there is not a fantasy Vuelta as of yet. Anyone have any idea as to how to force George Chapman to set one up???

Set the game up or the puppy gets it! Nah I dont know what the delay is or whether he's bailed out. He is on twitter apparently so maybe somebody can find out.

He was planning one, as well as an Autumn classics. Could be that he is just waiting for the final squads to be announced. leaving it late though. :D
