Very nice team. I wouldn't bet on me against you, but I'm still not going to change it I think (or maybe I will tomorrow). But I'm also showing my hand, here's what I got:

Andy SCHLECK [24] LEO
Alexandre VINOKOUROV [14] AST
Robert GESINK [16] RAB
Remy DI GREGORIO [6] AST
Mark CAVENDISH [20] THR

Thomas VOECKLER [6] EUC
Jérémy ROY [2] FDJ
Johnny HOOGERLAND [6]

Still thinking about my team.
Might have about 5 of the guys you picked on my team ;)

Any special reason for picking Jeremy Roy ? I have no idea which of the 2 point guys who is best to pick.

Not really. It's just a name I recognised and additionally the Frenchies generally try to do well in the Tour de France and I thought maybe there's an outside chance he could win a stage or something. ;)

Anthony Ravard probably has the best sprint out of the 2 pionters. If not him, I'd go with Ruben Perez.

I'm in with:

Alberto CONTADOR [30] SBS
Rigoberto URAN [10] SKY
Vasil KIRYIENKA [8] MOV
Damiano CUNEGO [12] LAM
Ben SWIFT [8] SKY
Marco MARCATO [6] VCD
Chris HORNER [6] RSH
Thomas VOECKLER [6] EUC
Bradley WIGGINS [14] SKY

Horner seems to be popular, might be great value at only 6 points.
I am trying to choose beetween Contador and Schleck. Not decided yet.

Bradley Wiggins will not be on my team, don't think he will do that well.
No stage wins, and he will fail to make the top 5, not sure if he will even make the top 10.

I feel like the best 2 point dude is Anthony Roux. That's not what is troubling me. Hesjedal or Martin? Can Hesjedal maintain last year's performance? And Horner or P Velits? Dude was 3rd at the Vuelta last year. Argh the choices!

My climbers are both French, which may very well spell disaster. That's the cost for having Gilbert and Goss (yeah baby!)

If I get Martin and Velits I would have 4 HTC guys. Perfect if they get the TTT and a lot of stage wins.

Bloody Contador and Cav. They screw everything. But, they're the true moneymakers.

Not really sure, but i would rather have Horner than Velits.
And i would pick Hesjedal over Martin, but not to sure about that either.

Hmm. Hesjedal comes with a 2-point dude, Martin comes with De Gendt.

What about Vande Velde? 4th and 8th at '08 and '09. Last year he didn't finished. Maybe he's back to top level.

Forgot to consider that, then i really don't know.

Do we know if Martin will have to work for Cavendish or not ?

I believe not. Van Gardener will do that role. But, maybe Vande Velde will be a better pick than Martin and so De Gendt will make it as well. Dammit multiple leaders within the same team.

I dunno if I should go wiggo + feillu or Basso + goss

I have a feeling about Feillu...

I would prefer Goss to Feillu. And for a 6 point sprinter I prefer Rojas to Feillu. And I would prefer Wiggins to Basso. Just sayin :)

Wiggo + Feillu!

I think Wiggo is good for a top 20 and should be high on the individual and team TT. He's also better at positioning in a large group than Basso so he might get you some finishing points on some stages. Plus he's more likely than Basso to get assist points because his teammates are more likely to get top 3 in a sprint or breakaway than Basso's. I think Wiggo has a better chance of getting daily standing points early in the Tour even if he loses spots in the last week. Hopefully Basso will come on strong in the last week but consistency gets you more points.

I'm putting Feillu on my team:) He looked fit, confident, and relaxed at the team presentation so I'm with you on that "feeling". I also like picking some French riders. I always remember Feillu crying when he crossed the finish line after his brother had won a stage. I'll cry if he gets his own!

Alberto CONTADOR [30] SBS
Tony MARTIN [10] THR
Robert GESINK [16] RAB
John GADRET [10] ALM
Andre GREIPEL [8] OLO
Rein TAARAMÄE [6] COF
Chris HORNER [6] RSH
Thomas VOECKLER [6] EUC
Philippe GILBERT [8] OLO
100 exact points
Not happy to have chosen: Gadret and Martin
Horner and Gilbert were the steal of the game.

Out of interest, I checked to see if there was any actual team in the race that it would be possible to choose based on the silly rider classifications in the game. There isn't. Even if you had unlimited points.

Radioshack, Astana, and Garmin are the only teams with 2 riders in the "overall" but Radioshack and Astana don't have a "sprinter" and Garmin doesn't have a "climber".

Oh less than 12 hours left. And I still can't decide between Martin, Vande Velde, Hesjedal. I feel only one of these 3 will make it top10. But who?

Contador + a 2 point guy + a 4 point guy

OR

Cadel Evans + Boasson Hagen + Nicolas Roche ?

(allready decided to have Gilbert on my team btw)

Roche + 2 point guy or Horner + 4 point guy ?

I'd go with Contador + others. There aren't many good 2-pointers, but there are some decent 4-pointers. Worst case scenario, Contador gets 2nd. That's a lot of points.

Worst case scenario, Boasson Hagen is injured and abandons and Cadel is in the bottom half of the top 10. Not sure what to make of Roche
