Robert Gesink is back.

“It went well today. This climb actually suited me well. We were dropped off nicely by the team. Great work, since half the peloton wanted to start up here too. It was simply a bunch sprint to the base of the final climb. At first, I just had to get into my own rhythm, but in the second half, things kept improving. By the final kilometre, I started moving up. It got better and better for me near the finish. I’m very pleased. I, of course, had been hoping for this, but hadn’t expected it. Because after yesterday’s time trial, my legs were feeling heavy. It was my first long time trial in a long while.

Think Froome and Valverde will have some problems today. AC and purito to stay togheter util final 400 m where Purito will explode and win the stage by 15 sec

Good guess!

You are right indeed. Your on my ignore list, but I log in once I start replying so sometimes I still read your posts :)
Not all your posts are crap. Sometimes they are actually interesting, but then at times you post stuff like this as well!
Like I said you are right. I shouldn't even reply to these posts.

Ok.. Why shouldn't he try to follow Purito's wheel? If he could then why shouldn't he?

Im not certain, but could be that he dosent feel like he has to all out just yet, his time to shine will come.

But it looked like he wasent really worried about Rod winning and gaining a few secs.

Classic Ryo, talking about excuses when the guy didn't even try to excuse himself. Is Gesink making you lose money? Is that why you hate your countryman so much? :confused:

I'm almost 100% sure, but one thing is for sure, he's not Colombian or Japanese. :D

He must be Dutch. Probably had to sell his house due to the Rabobank. Corporate pr*cks.

He seems to be world class, so it isn't really that much of a surprise, but thx for the data.
Wow this is really interesting, but I'm a bit ignorant so a couple of questions:
- what's the meaning of FT? It's some sort of output we would expect on long climbs?
- are this values typical for climbs right?

FT= Functional Threshold power. ~ 1 hr.

Expect those values for an hour record and long climbs.
