Who can forget the epic battle of Nibali and Mosquera in 2010.

This is a good Vuelta finale and Bola del Mundo is one of the hardest climbs used by Vuelta in modern times (after Angliru, Gamoniteiru and Cuitu Negru). Let's hope protestors from Madrid won't block Navacerrada destroying this stage completely! UAE & Almeida will try to crack Vingo while Bora & Hindley will try to crack Pidcock so we should have some interesting action. Both of those will be hard to achieve but I think it's more likely that Pidcock will be broken (than Vingo).

Don't think so, Vingegaard will just follow Almeida's wheel until very late even if he is the stronger of the two.
I think it makes more sense to do your own race than stick on Almeida's wheel. Not attack necessarily, but if Hindley attacks with 5km to go follow Pidcock as long as he doesn't go over his limit. If Almeida gets distanced so be it, but it probably won't tire out Vingegaard.

Almeida and Vingegaard are not getting dropped by Hindley before the final 3.3k ramp. Vingegaard is not losing 2:43 to Hindley in 3.3 kilometres.

Vingegaard has one job: follow Almeida. So that's what he'll do. If it turns out he really has good legs he'll try something, maybe in the final 2 or 3 k, but other than that his objective seems pretty clear.
