I was today in the finish line.
Not an special windy day, but the wind is always hard here in my land, Burgos, so although the final climb has step zones, it suits as well for one day riders, even cobbles ones.

In the Vuelta will be different.. they wil climb the Castillo for other route, longer one, but similar... but there will about 5 flat final kms into the city, so the massive sprint is likely.

Tomorrow is the same, even more for one day riders. Maybe for Paolini, though I found him quite fat...

There was a lot of people around Nairo, I could talk a little, but very little. Basso is quite fat... he has big legs, so i ma amazed about how is he performing.

I think the battle will be among Landa, Quintana and Cataldo, but the flat stage with the wind could put one out.

Nibali is strong but thinking in the Vuelta, he was very quite in the start, making a joke about something I said to Agnoli... I did a mistake, but I dont know why Nibali found that so laughtable...
Astana didnt put his bus in the parking, so Astana riders ocupied the Kathousa area and took coffe there protected of the rain...

Betancur is ill. His team had a caravan, not a bus.

FDJ riders was climbing the Burgos castlle in the morning before the start.., they werent at an easy pace...it was a surprising for me they got tired before to start...(one hour before)

Zandio told me he is going to be one year more in SKy, and that he is well there, he didnt look sad to see Uran go...we joked about it...

Carlos is still in colombia, he says the team changed his race schedule.

I asked yesterday to AG2R staff:

Pour quoi est ce que Betancur ne pas ici??

And two at the same time said: Malade.

I dont know if it is true.

It is going to be headwind or in the last part , so it wont be a big problem, it seems, but before could be.
