This is more fallout from the "discovery" that Mexico has a meat contamination problem. As another thread here reports, WADA also dropped its case against the Mexican soccer players. As I mentioned on that thread, this shouldn't affect Contador--since he didn't eat Mexican beef--but Colo should be upset. His situation was virtually identical to Nielsen's, but he got a year (which strictly speaking should mean they recognized that it was contamination but thought he had some fault in it). Really, I think Colo now has very good grounds for suing to have his sanction overturned. I realize it's too late for him to get back the lost time, but he should not have any kind of doping offense on his record if Nielsen doesn't.
