You're always enthusiastic about your Lynskey, so I would suggest keeping that as you winter indoor trainer/summer ride. The tourer would work as a year round commuter too so if you can persuade the mum-to-be that you need a new bike, that would be the route I would take. Good luck with that conversation! :D

Put three bikes up for sale today: Colnago, Raleigh, and no-name commuter. Still considering my other choices. Mum-to-be is happy with new bikes, thankfully, especially one that can be used for more utalitarian purposes - considering the Surly Trucker Disc or a custom Steelwool for the commuter/tourer/kid towing bike.

+1000 You have to keep the Lynskey. You just have to! :D

I do like the idea of tourer/commuter to compliment the stable, though I'm sad for you that Colnago has to go...

Thanks, Flyor64. Lynskey is definitely staying! I am sad to have to sell the Colnago as well, but in all honesty I don't ride it that often to justify keeping it. Keeping the Cervelo S2 or selling it and replacing it with a Pinarello ROKH is my next dilemma. The Cervelo S2 is nice bike, but I don't race anymore. My riding style is more for enjoyment, longer rides, and experiencing some of the back roads. So the ROKH sounds like it may be a better fit for me. I will test ride one this weekend.
