The article suggest he is going to a WT team who has denied the rumours
Couldn't it be the move itself that's being denied rather than the specific team?

Because: Argos  Lampre FTW.

That'd mean Argos I guess. What a transfer that would be :D

Agreed, he'd be on a good team but would he get the GT support due to the sprinters on that team?

Astana is probably the only team that could dish out the money for him and Moreno while having enough other domestiques to be able to support them in the mountains.

Vacansoleil could be an OK fit for him as well. But how are they off financially?

He'd have to be nuts to go to Argos or, say Greenedge, but yet again he doesn't really have that much choice, must take what he could to try and salvage this season (his career on a broader scale really)

Surely it is Movistar?

I'd think it would take alot longer than one season for Purito to get the required support from Argos to be in for a shot of podium at the tour.

Cannondale...they need to replace Nibali.

But they have hardly any mountain support now that Capecchi and Szmyd have left. I don't think it would be a good move for Purito, unless Basso becomes his superdomestique or something.

Movistar - he's basically got the same goals as Valverde. There's slightly less overlap with Nibali at Astana.

But yet again, as of right now he's got no team to ride for, so if the only offer he's got is to domestique for Valverde again - surely he must take it
