He's not the fastest, so he has to make a move. Whether he initiates it, or follows the move, he just can't let a bunch sprint take place or at least one of the faster guys will beat him. IMO the odds are that hrotha is right.

If he does mark the strongest move on Poggio, I don't think he'll win the bunch gallop, but if he sits tight, I think he has as good a chance to win the sprint as any other rider.
