"Monument" is a fairly recent label in cycling history. The late 80's.

Before that you had classics, period. About a dozen of them.

Among the listed races, only the Flèche wallonne and Ghent-Wevelgem might really be called a "classic".

San Sebastian, AGR or Omloop.

I think the Omloop gets a lot of love for being the first main race after the break.

Strade Bianche would get my vote but I don't think we're allowed to watch it live are we?
This year SB was broadcasted live for the first time.

Voted for Strade Bianche, Omloop and other; where other is Brabantse Pijl.

AGR can be nice I guess, but it doesn't always get good racing.

Also, one of the reasons Brabantse Pijl is one of my favourite races is because the finishing lap is about 13km from where I live when I'm in Leuven. :D - I've only started cycling a few months ago, but I did that lap a lot for sure.

Voted Omloop, Strade Bianchi and AGR. Omloop because when it comes you can't wait for the classics to begin. SB because it's a beautiful race. AGR because of the prestige.

I voted SB, FW then Omloop.

FW may not be as exciting a race overall as AGR but i love the uphill sprint and the winners are fully deserving/ usually established Ardennes pedigree. SB seems great to watch and is also very exciting. Omloop this year was great but i did not watch last years.

The next 3 favourites for me are AGR, CSS and P-T.

What does Plouay constitute as? I like the route and how it is backloaded with small climbs .

I like Scheldeprijs, Tour Down Under Classic and KBK. They should have more classics for the sprinters as three isn't enough.

I'd lock all the sprinters on the track where they belong. You might watch them sprinting every four laps or so while comfortably sitting in your seat. :D

I enjoy the Strade but wish more top teams were invited. Its a hard balance though as they want plenty of local teams

They went down in my estimation when they didnt invite Sky even after Tommy L was 1st & 2nd the the two preceding years.
