Which is the best of the Grand Tours

Vuelta! Always exciting untill the end, small differences, a lot of MTF and once in a while the Angliru. They set the trend with the real beast and later on the Giro followed with Zoncolan. A lot of stages with hard sprint finals for stronger but fast guys like Bettini, Gilbert, Hushovd, Freire. Not so much easy pussy wins for the sprinters as in the Tour and Giro.

Tour was ****** up half the 17 years a follow cycling by one guy. A special guy with admirable results, but he made the race boring to follow.

And in september I have more time than July and May.

2000 and 2003 were pretty good Tours imo. 1999 wasn't too bad either.

Le Tour for me. I love the Giro and the Vuelta but there is only one race where all the big boys come out to play and it's Le Tour

Giro is the better race, but for me the Tour is better. Alot more suspense, beautiful country, something for every rider. It's a tremendous advert for France. Italy doesn't really do it for me.

The Vuelta is ok, but I get the feeling that the suffering is alot less in that Tour & most of the landscape is quite barren & looks the same.
