Remco is the clear favorite imo. Whats 16minutes for a rider like him anyway I think he can take atleast 3hrs on stage 20 alone. So i voted for him aswell
Totally agree!
I had previously voted for Sepp but after reading your post I understood how illogical I was being and joined your group: 20 minutes is nothing - Remco is still the favorite!

Yup. Although I don't think it's realistic for him to gain much time in Stage 21, Remco can easily take 5 minutes in each of the other 5 stages. Heck, he might even be able to take a relative rest day on Stage 19 before finishing the job on Saturday.

If the top 3 were on separate teams, this could be great but unless Kuss completely blows on Angliru, I'm not sure he loses now. I can easily see Roglic and Vingegaard just leaving him have it as he's been a big part of why they have the Giro and the Tour this year, and we'll get no attacks and it'll just be covering Ayuso and Mas if they attack

Lol. Surely you jest. None of the real gc riders are injured. Therefore remco has no chance. It's funny how these gimmick rides lures fans in. No chance against in shape, unhurt , real gc riders.

After yesterday I wouldve forgiven you to think I might be joking, but after seeing Remco get dropped by Kämna, Buitrago and Rui Costa of all people up a glorified flase flat me and even you have to come to terms with the immense recovery capabilities our young Remco displays. So no, of course im not joking. The only thing really up for discussion in my mind is when, not if, Remco will decide to take back the red jersey. Oh and also for all the doubters... Who is wearing the KOM jersey!? Damn right its Remco! The jersey of the BEST CLIMBER on the shoulders of THE BEST CLIMBER. Enough said.

Yep. Sure. He is the best climber. Lol. Of those climbers ...unlike real gc riders , that can take a total rest day with their public(cyst) on the radio ...to do these gimmick rides. They lure many more new fans than does the real gc rider that suffers ...good or bad ...he knew he couldn't win the vuelta , and planned to lose minutes, and then get in breakaways. Again , hero bar is set very low these days. I feel sorry for his spt riders in his team. They are riding, training, missing family for social media wo...re.. did he cry again today after the stage ? That really brings in the fanboys. I don't care what he does. He is not a real gc rider against real gc riders that are in shape and unhurt or uncrashed.

I don't really get it. Kuss is seemingly in the shape of his life riding his third consecutive GT. Now I guess at least a bit of that is inferior competition but it's still absolutely remarkable.

I still think this is far from over. I think he can have a bad day any moment and something like Ayuso really going for it on the angliru could absolutely kill his gc ambitions. But I have to admit I massively underestimated him. Pretty incredible.
