... and then there's Canada.

We could have been blessed with French cuisine, American technology, and British culture. Instead, we wound up with American culture, British cuisine, and French technology. It's a good thing we're world-beaters in cycling...

Our teeth aren't too bad, either. Universal health care and all that...

I was wondering why do British people have bad teeth? Don’t they know where to buy teeth whitening products? Or is the whole story just a myth?

British don’t bathe or take care of their hygiene as often as most Americans. Everything over there is basically more expensive, so they simply cannot afford to cleanse daily like we can. I have often wondered this myself- I think it may just be their gene pool, or the fact that some people may not be able to afford dentists / orthodontists. It’s a genetic trait and since most people from England are distantly related it’s common for most of them. Lack of dentists?

You've just been sucked in by a troll. Don't take it personally, he is just trolling for a response to justify his purpose in life.

I think the whole purpose of this thread was to flame/troll - it reflects well on everyone who posts here how fun & good natured it has been.

I think it is one of the best threads on here at the moment.

Yes, not like the way the Betsy appreciation thread was high-jacked in the Clinic by a troll. On that note (high-jacking, not trolling): Spain is better than the rest of the world put together ….

Hi Lanternrouge,

Thanks for posting on Cyclingnews forums.

Sorry I didn't mean to offend.

I know it must be difficult having an ugly set of teeth and that you mumble because you're afraid to smile. In future I should show more compassion to the dentally challenged.

Cyclingnews moderators please place one strike on me for offensive overtones to an invalid.

It's because we grind them down while putting in monumental efforts. Every one else has good teeth because they don't try hard enough. :D

If your people are interested in girls, wouldnt you go out to find one in real life. not the internet. ;)

Caster Semenya? He's a very good athlete. Must have some British heritage in him?

Not just spaniards. Frankie Schleck also claims he paid dozens of thousands of euros to a gynecologist for training advice. As have quite a few others.
