Wireless Carriers (USA)...Who do you use?

What carrier are you using? Anyone try one of the discount carriers who uses the big networks (ie: Straight Talk, Cricket, Republic...)? I've been with Verizon for six years and I wonder if its worth the extra money? I live in Boise so most networks are fine in the Valley (travelling is another issue, but even V doesn't cover the boonies of Idaho/Montana very well). Anyone try Google Fi yet?

EDIT: Republic Wireless sounds really good.

It seems that none of the USA crew care about this thread! :) BUT...FYI: I ended up staying with Verizon and changing to their new Verizon plan (yep, its called the Verizon plan). Before: Unlimited data, 1 smart phone, one basic phone, $120 month*. Now: 3 GB data, 2 smart phones, $85 month. We already own both of the smart phones (my wife's old one and newer one). The Verizon plan does not subsidize phones so you have to buy them at full price (you can pay over 24 months still). As far as data goes, my wife has only used more than one GB of data two months in since 2009 because she is on WiFi at home and work so not having unlimited is not an issue plus that is part of the "option" below.

*Note: I could have saved about $20 a month off of my old plan had I known about an option...long story short, had my wife bought her newer phone from V instead of BB we would have known about a plan option that would have saved us $20 a month...

I only use my US celll once a month for a few hours. so I'm on a basic plan with Virgin it costs $20 every 3 months
$0.20 a minute for calls 2.50 a day to access the web. I never use all my credit. used to be I could get a new phone with the balance but they stopped that. In Mexico I use Telcel it's $50 pesos a month (appx.$3usd) I only use it once a week when I drive into town.
