I know a guy through my best mate who is going up there and riding a rigid single-speed. He is wicked fast even on very technical circuits. Can't say that a full day in 1 gear with no suspension floats my boat though

This is true HTFU stuff here...

I ride/race a SS HT with 80mm up front...and I did a mid-distance race on it last year just shy of 2 1/2 hours...and was done/whinging by the end...

No idea how one can do it fully rigid for 24 hours straight...

How did he fare?
