Worst Jersey from the 90s?

This has been driving me nuts for ages - can'ts remember for the life of me the name of the French team from the 90s who wore a jersey promoting some sort of children's biscuit. It was pink, yellow, brown and all sorts of nasty (not "Z", sometime after them).

Does anyone with a better memory than me recall? Extra points if you can post a photo :D

Worst jersey's from the 90's

The Polti kit was remarkebly ugly, and who could forget Stephen Roche's Tonton Tapis with the picture of the owner with a carpet on his shoulder. I'm not homophobic, but I had a hard time wearing a gift of a Jolly Club jersey that had Gobbi Fruita, Fago, and a demented clown as sponsors.

By the way, if anyone's interested, the Tonton Tapis carpet chain was bought out by Carpet Right a few years back. Just in case you were wondering. ;)

I think Bernard Tapis (in)famously went bankrupt in the early 90s?

Tapis is the french word for Carpet. Not to be confused with Tapie, the surname of Bernard Tapie the french entrepreneur who sponsored the La Vie Claire and Toshiba teams of the 80s-90s.

Tonton Tapis was also a Belgian company - I think? It was definitely a Belgian team.

Anyhow Tonton tapis, simply means Tonton Carpets or carpets by tonton :)

The le Groupment cycling team - though short-lived - had a tremendously ugly kit

...but the riders and bikes were OK
Miller on a Bianchi means the world can't be all bad

For me Carerra makes me shudder, especially when it is full kit with the mock pockets on the "jeans". I guess it was the days of Billy Ray and double denim

This gets worse. Tonton means nuncle {yes, as in the child's word for uncle; exactly that}
So the name of the team was litterally, Nuncle Carpets. [eta: actually no, it means exactly Carpets nuncle. That's worse again]

I was going to barge in with Castorama on my lips, but this........thing.....on page 1 tops it. And I had forgotten about Tonton Tapis, oh dear oh dear.
