Worst team of the Tour

For me it's a toss up between Katusha (sh!t selection policy, karpets and the dope positive) and Radiohack (crap bikehandling and must have lost the peds in transit).

Dishonourable mentions to Saur and Cofidis, but then they don't have the cash or abitions of the others.

The Shack. No sprinter selected - a selection blunder the England cricket selectors would be proud of, on top of that all their climbers fell off or failed on the climbs. They had bad luck but they were stuck at the back.

Katusha were also useless.

Good point. Robbie must be feeling vindicated for being ****ed about his omission

in regrards to expectation rabo had a dissapointing tour.

funny, at giro no one expected anything from taht team and tehy really did well. Here big expectations and big dissapointments. Of course they had a lot of bad luck, as did radioshack.

Naming RadioShack is bit weak, don't you think?

The only time I saw them in front is when they were hammering the peloton on stage 1 after the crashes that involved Samu and Conti.

Karma's a *****

Astana was the only team I completely forgot about, though it did help that Vino was out with injury.

Disagree with Cofidis and Saur. Both Taaramae and Coppel were steady over the 3 weeks, and both teams were lively in most breakaways.

Katusha
Saur
Quick-Step.

I don't really agree about Radioshack. 3 riders crashing out and the 4th GC men crashed numerous times and was so far behind in the GC when the mountains started that it didn't matter anymore.

Granted their team leader crashed out, but I think the only reason people aren't unanimously choosing Astana is because they completely forgot that they were even in the race.

Their highest placed GC rider was 39th, which is last among all teams. Kreuziger was 112th. Wasn't he supposed to be good?

No stage wins and almost no camera time the entire tour. In terms of value for sponsorship dollars, well I suspect tourism in Kazakhstan is going to be down this year.

Saur, Cofidis (per usual) and Katusha were completely invisible. The first two did not display any proof that they deserved their wild cards. Besides Roy being in every single break this year, FDJ did nothing of note.

There are many on this forum who would rank Radioshack as the worst even if they won the team competition and all 4 leaders jerseys. In the since that they were very unlucky and that this undermined their living up to expectations, I suppose you could say they disappointed. That is a far cry from saying they were the worse.

Some of the teams, even though they did not win anything, were regularly featured in breaks. What did Radio Shack do? The team stunk so much that Lance cancelled his trip to see the team.
