I am not sure about mine. The battery in my cyclometer of my main ride died at one point and I did not bother replacing it for a couple of months. I think I did between 9 and 10K kilometers on the road.

Back in the 60s, Cycling Weekly used to publish charts of riders yearly milages at this time of the year. (They also included a 52 week graph in the new years edition for use in the new year). There were no bike computers then, (obviously), so cyclo tourists/club riders would have a small gadget fixed near the front hub which ticked off the miles and considering the sh*tty weather the distances of most published were around 25,000 -30,000. Not shabby.
BroDeal; unless your miles are mainly off-road, I think I beat you this year!
I managed just over 7,000 km which isn't bad considering I only dusted off the road bike mid-March. Also do 3 - 4,000 km of commuting/mountain biking a year but don't have a bike computer on those bikes.
A hair under 8500 km I think. My Garmin is being uncooperative again. About a 60/40 split in terms mountain bike - road bike(s). Would have been more but my health went down the toilet after I was involved in a auto accident in September which made riding difficult.
Didn't use a cyclometer for the entire year. The summer months were a bit quiet for me due to vacation and lack of good weather, but spring and autumn were good. I think in the region of 3000 km (1700 miles or something).
This year has been a total bust for me. At the beginning of the year I moved to a new city and bought a new bike. Instead of putting a new computer on said new bike, I thought I'd just move the computer off the old bike. But, I never got around to it. I probably never got around to it because I haven't been riding consistently. And as of the first week of November I've hardly ridden at all. So I don't wanna know how many kms/miles I did this year 'cause I probably wouldn't like it. I already don't like it.
Good thing a new year is coming up. Think I'll celebrate with a bike ride.
Not sure, but it won't be that much as I went 2 and a half months without riding, 2 weeks were in China and the other two due to a broken collarbone on my 2nd ride back from arriving back from China. Then I started a new job were I was working up to 46 hours per week until that didn't end well for me, and my motivation for training and racing went out the door and I'm only now getting my motivation and desire to ride hard again back.
This thread actually had me thinking (Oh shock! ) Even though I've long maintained that I don't need a computer to tell me how slow I am, maybe a computer telling me how far I've gone could be some sort of motivator.
Not that I ever expect to get as much in as you crazy guys!
My target for the year was to average 100km per week, so 5,200km for the year. I got there on the 31st December and ended up with 5,224km. That doesn't include the 20 or so lost kilometres when my computer stopped recording info during a recent ride.
I've really gotten back my motivation for regular riding in the last couple of months so I hope I can carry that through 2012 and clock up at least 6,000km
I moved to a new city for a new job early January 2011 and i had no bike then so i ran an average of 100-110 kms / week till end of April. Then I got a new bike. So between end of April and end of the year i did roughly 12500-13000 kms.
I did ~4200mi on the road this year. I didn't measure commute miles since my commute is only 3.5mi. one way and it feels rather insignificant. But a rough estimate of commute miles would add between 1000 and 1400 mi to the total. Didn't do enough mtn. biking to even bother with an estimate
