I like this idea. Plus, instead of Bonus Sprints for time, they could be for cards. Win 3 Bonus Sprint cards and you can trade it in for a day in yellow equivalent.

Would he lose 2010? Cause Contador, Schleck and Cancellara all held it for 6 stages. If we include rest days then Cancellara is out but there is still a tie between Contador and Schleck. If Contador loses 2010, it would make it 5.

I do like the fact that it would make the yellow jersey more earned if you actually won a stage during the Tour (or GT), otherwise the jersey would have to have an asterisk on each shoulder to show you couldn't.

That makes up for Hesjedal losing his Giro; at least Canada would still have a GT winner.
