Youngest rider to win a stage in each gt?

I've always been curious, who was the youngest, and how old was he, when he won a stage in all 3 GTs, for the record I'm not talking about the youngest rider in each GT to win a stage, I mean the youngest to have a stage win from each GT. Thanks.

Eddy I don't think was younger then 25 when he won all 3.

Rik Van Linden I think is the answer. I believe he was 24 when he won his vuelta stage in 1974 (In the spring then..).

I'm probably wrong tho.

Contador? I think he had a stage in all three when he was 25. Might be wrong.

Contador didn't get a victory in all three until this year, Merckx didn't race the Vuelta for a while, Van Linden was 25 when he did it, Cavendish was 25 as well.

I'm sure he was 24. As the vuelta was in april not september back then.

You need to check your data on this sort of stuff somewhere else then you do now.

Hinaults first GT and his first GT win was the 1978 Vuelta, he scored 4 Stages wins + the prologue.

He won the Tour this year as well, winning three Stages. It took him untill 1980 though when he was 25 to win his first Giro stage (and not to mention of course also the GC)

So I guess the Badger is not the youngest to do so.

From what I found so far, I belive that Defilippis was just beaten to also be the first to win stages in all 3 GTs by Rick van Steenbergen. He won his first Vuelta Stage in 1956 too, being 34.

A quick Wiki search shows the late great Laurent Fignon was 22 when he was on the winning TTT at the 1982 Giro.

In 1983, at age 23 he had a stage win in the Vuelta and the Tour.

But of course, he still wins though.
