Astana - Nibali 53%

Cannondale - Sagan 47%
lampre - Cunego 36%
OPQS - Boonen 32%
Orica - Clarke/Albasini 16%
Sky - Henao 24%
Vacansoleil - de Gendt 27%
Movistar - Quintana 32%
Ag2r - Pozzovivo/Betancur 26%
Euskaltel - Sanchez 54%

Argos - Degenkolb 49%
Saxo - Contador 49%
FDJ - Pinot 61%
Lotto - Greipel 23%
Radioshack - Cancellara 52%
I'm a bit surprised by the amount who picked Henao despite the fact that he barely launched a single attack during the entire 2012 season, and didn't win anything either. Most others on the list are either big winners or very aggressive riders (or both). Henao rode into two GT top 15's without attacking once - hardly the sort of race style which normally is appreciated with the fans (I like Henao too though, just pointing out that he's the odd one out here)

Katusha - Purito Rodriguez (ever since the stand still on Sierra Nevada waiting for Valverde)
Astana Pro Team - Nibali (always messing with bigger guys than him) and Tiralongo (the mountain domestique)
BMC Racing Team - Hushovd (I started to watch cycling in 2009 and I was amazed how such a big guy was climbing so smoothly on the Tour stage to Grand Bornand)
Cannondale - Agnoli (if he's staying cause he's also a good mountain domestique)
Lampre – Merida - no one
Omega Pharma – Quick Step Cycling Team - Boonen (he breathes cobblestones), Chavanel (not really top classics material but he'll get one someday) and Keirsbulck (seems like he'll be a great rider)
ORICA GreenEDGE - no one
Sky Procycling - Kyrienka (the "souplesse" riding towards Sestriere was just something out of the ordinary), Knees (what a beast) and Hagen (he's too good to be riding as a domestique in every other important race)
Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team - Valls (attacking all over the place in his first Tour) and De Gendt (the proof that is possible to have spectacle and results: perhaps Hoogerland could learn something from this :) )
Movistar Team - Quintana (ultimate climber), Costa (portuguese and very smart riding) and Arroyo (my first cycling memories are of him winning in Portugal)
AG2R La Mondiale - no one
Euskaltel Euskadi - Nieve (the very definition of epic and old school climbers)
Blanco - Sanchez (tactical genius and a true all rounder)
Garmin Sharp - Martin (attacking style climber, what's not to like?), Vansummeren (all rounder type without a big ego stopping him from working to others), Navardauskas (that Tour....) and Klier (such a coolness on the cobbles)
Team Argos–Shimano - Degenkolb (the classics one, the sprinter not so much)
Team Saxo – Tinkoff - Velasco (for so many reasons although clinic not one of them :D)
FDJ - Offredo (attacking the big boys in the big ones) and Pinot (please french people, don't screw this one)
Lotto Belisol - Bak (the wins and the work) and Roelandts (I don't really have a reason for that)
RadioShackNissan - Frank (I like his style climbing), Kloden (always missing the gold spot), Andy (that's a climber) and Cancellara (the most powerful rider around)

Well, the majority of Sky riders are a bit like marmite: you either like them or hate them.

Across the teams S American riders polled very well, with Quintana leading on Movistar and many votes for Rujano, Uran, Betancur, Anacona elsewhere

Liking or disliking doesn't have to be logical - doesn't always have to be about hard work or exciting attacks. Maybe they were nice to you when you got an autograph, maybe you hate their haircut, maybe they're from your home town. Could be a million and one reasons unrelated to cycling itself.

So true.
