Thanks!
What a joke by gesink and tratnik, by Movistar, by trek guys, they chase all day a great breakaway just out of jealousy and hatred of their own inability to do anything meaningful in a race. And then they are nowhere in the final. Thanks for ruining the sport. And thanks Julian for attacking to catch your teammate, twice. Idiot
He did 5 consecutive top 10 finishes in ToC 2019, including some sprints.Asgreen 5th in a bunch sprint
And Lutsenko is out of the whole race.Ciccone, Dunbar, Higuita and McNulty are out of GC contention after today.
it's the 4th time Lutsenko tried to combine Romandie with (part of) the Ardennes classics, and every time it ended with a DNF. Maybe they should consider to change plans. And Lutsenko is out of the whole race.
Same problem applies. In real-time with multiple riders crossing the finish line over the entire width of the road, it is almost impossible to get a clear view of who won, unless it's not a close call.I don‘t think Toby usually watches sprint finishes through the lense of a finish line photographer.
If it was up to me, Romandie should have three. Prologue, mountain and flat.
Bavarianrider and Houdtfan might also include a TTT.
But seriously why not three here? Especially if the prologue is short (for a prologue) and the flat ITT is no more than 30 km. Because the 7 x one week races should have some variety. You've got Catalunya that doesn't have a TT at all, and Basque Country usually with one ITT (but a bunch of uphill finishes). TA probably tends to also favour the climbers, Dauphne and Swiss give a little TT love, but always bring proper mountain stages (by today's standards). P-N is usually for the all rounders.
Also, given that the climbers of the Giro rarely care for Romandie, make it very TT friendly.
It's a bit confusing also. The snow doesn't look very fresh so it must have been there for a bit, but there's also green grass underneath it, so there must have been a good period of no snow and decent temperatures already this spring. Anyway, beautiful views.A nice winter forest they have there.
