Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, the new alpha mutant

Dutch tv now has Stef Clement explain that Vinegaard eats less fibre, which means he has 500g less *** in his gut, which makes him lighter, and also helps keep his tummy flat, which makes him more aero. WUT you can't make this *** up. Good thing that Dumoulin is on the Belgian tv. [edit]...

OMG pedalling efficiency? Are you trolling now?

Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, the new alpha mutant

What is this? These are elite riders. Of course their numbers are off the chart. But please do learn how to use 'orders of magnitude' corretly. When Pogacar did his 2020 performance, people said that Pogacar was special in how he would recover from lactic acid and how that was his unique...

Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, the new alpha mutant

Armstrong was a triathlete and TT specialist. What do you mean?

Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, the new alpha mutant

Yeah, back then small thin climbers were losing to tall muscular guys in TTs. That stopped with Froome. No one was ever able to explain why GC contenders were beating TT specialists in the third week of the TdF. And now they aren't just beating them, they are crushing them by many minutes...

Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, the new alpha mutant

The Russians were doping in athletics for years. They weren't crushing everyone. Doping doesn't explain this. Whatever is happening, it is much more significant than doping.

Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, the new alpha mutant

Vinegaard was either was riding an e bike, or he cut off part of the course. I refuse to believe he did this just by doping. Doesn't make sense. Pogi's performance today barely makes sense. What was the average speed on the flat? Was the road wet when WvA did his ride? And it dried up later? WvA...

Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, the new alpha mutant

To me, it never made sense that GC riders were winning flat TTs vs TT specialists just aiming for a day victory, in the third week of the TdF. But that has always happened since Armstrong. But Armstrong was a triathlete and TT specvialist that converted to GC rider. How was Froome ever even top5...

Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, the new alpha mutant

I didn't post here for years. Sure, there may be dopers. But how the *** can a skeleton go 2.5 minutes faster on a short TT with a cat 2 climb? HOW!? This isn't even about drugs. Did WvA go that slow? I remember that Dumolin, who is commentating right now on this TT on NOS tv, say after...

    Anyone else damage/destroy ordinary bikes?

I have bought many perfectly goodlooking second hand bikes and the way I drive them just gives problems. I have pulled off the handles of several bikes. If they have a bend steering, more often than not the rubber of the handlebars will slowly come off. Nexus gear hubs, they just break...

    Santambrogio tests positive for EPO

Who gets to say when it is valid? The physician or WADA or someone else?

    Santambrogio tests positive for EPO

Are there even rules for it? Can't a physician give you anything as long as she/he thinks it is a medical necessity? Otherwise, the WADA has the power to second-guess a physician as an athlete can't withdraw from competition/OOC testing if she/he is ill and requiring treatment that would...

Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

Any anabolic substance in your body may disproportionately stimulate tumor growth. Be it insulin, test, HGH. All depends on the mutations that lead to the cancer. The tumor might even have a mutation that makes it oversensitive to a growth factor that follows out of the test or HGH cascade...

    Doping in Soccer/Football

How much blood do they withdraw? When I did blood tests in the past they withdrew always at least 2 tubes. I can imagine with football players, not used to transfusions, and superstitious as many are, withdrawing blood 1 day before the match isn't something that gives you confidence.

Study -Anti-Doping Systems in Sports are Doomed to Fail

Goal of the system is not to combat doping. It is to give the suggestion to audiences and sponsors that doing is being combated.
