Milan-San Remo 2013: Update from Songhezo Jim

Fantastic video. "It's just going to be an experience, for him, to see what a 300 km race is all about" ... The most extreme 300 km race in recent memory, that is. This picture says it all

Milan-San Remo 2013: Update from Songhezo Jim

Yohann Gene is French not African. And Omloop is a level below MSR. He is the second black African who has competed in a major UCI race (the grand tours and the monuments). I forgot about Teklehaimot in this years Vuelta. But you are right, so let me rephrase that. He is the first black african...

Milan-San Remo 2013: Update from Songhezo Jim

No. He says he abandoned with 50 k to go like a lot of the seasoned pro's. So he can still be proud.

Milan-San Remo 2013: Update from Songhezo Jim

I love this guy already. http://www.teammtnqhubeka.com/?news=songezo-jim-blog-my-milan-sanremo I didn’t know the organisers were stopping the race and I saw our team pulling off and other guys pulling off but I thought I am not giving up in this race. I am going to carry on because this is...

Lets support riders in a dope free culture!

Welcome to the forum. I agree with the other posters, who said that the arrogant person who flamed you for asking a relevant question should be ignored. Some sportscommentators and journalists give the impression that people dope because cycling is one of the hardest sports in the world, so no...

Kimmage unleashes hell, counter-sues Verbruggen & McQuaid

What Kimmage is using is called a Counterpunch. Can be very effective, especially if your opponent underestimate you http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=4Gx_ERPVVXU&feature=endscreen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ijk4Y2vsNBw

Kimmage unleashes hell, counter-sues Verbruggen & McQuaid

Apropos getting even with Hein Verbrüggen. In hindsight it sounds bizarre that a clean rider would be thrown out of a track championship, because of an "unrealistic position" when other riders were doped to the gills riding supposedly "orthodox positions" in the sports biggest event...

    Where's Tony Rominger

Just found out Romingers mother still lives in my hometown in Denmark... she is an avid bridge player :-D. These people are real human beings with family. Rominger might have been involved in some shady business, but there is no reason to judge him too hard... as far as I know he is not a...

Is Michele Ferrari recommending bloodtranfusions as treatment on his webpage???

That was my point. I read the article and started to feel uneasy. I wanted to hear other peoples opinion to find out if I was judging him too hard... apparantly you agree with me. "[Bloodtransfusions] are not dangerous, it's the abuse that is. It's also dangerous to drink 10 liters of orange juice"

Is Michele Ferrari recommending bloodtranfusions as treatment on his webpage???

That's how it starts... call Ferrari and ask him.

Is Michele Ferrari recommending bloodtranfusions as treatment on his webpage???

Is what he is describing related to blooddoping? The reason I ask is that to me, a layman, he sounds like a drugdealer talking about the positive effects of marihuana or halluconigenic drugs. It looks like the article isn't just information about the wonders of donating blood.

Is Michele Ferrari recommending bloodtranfusions as treatment on his webpage???

Yes but isn't he saying more than that? Between the lines?

Is Michele Ferrari recommending bloodtranfusions as treatment on his webpage???

I read this article on 53x12.com. I am no expert but to me it looks like Michele Ferrari is recommending the bloodtransfusions, that made him so infamous, not only to athletes, but also to regular people like you and me. Am I right? And what does this say about him? Is he implying that what he...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7OCcUkWw2s&playnext=1&list=PLD557F0F84E13D6C6&feature=results_video **** it. I like the guy. He is even born in the same town that I grew up in. I will have to look at him the same way I look at Eddie Murphy... there is the comedic genius who made "Delirious"...
