A few years ago there wouldn't have been (m)any Quickstep riders in there because about 15 of them would have won a race by now. Now they don't even make top tens that often.

I never particularly liked Hatch but I think he now thinks he is some kind of personality because of his Grupetto show and an award he somehow won. After this Giro I'd say he's even more irritating than Jed Cox. Robbie McEwen has the patience of a saint sometimes.

Agreed but I can also see why the team car called it. The Astana points haul has been such a team effort and I'm sure they want to keep everyone happy and maintain morale. Lorenzo seemed happy enough.
