Glad I missed the Hatch-led mourn-in. Crashes do unfortunately happen, but the racing goes on. Now that they have adverts I have switched to ITV which I avoided in the past because of ads. I do miss listening to Carlton rambling about French farms and such on a dull stage like today.

With all these crashes I made the right choice watching on ITV rather than listen to Hatch screaming "No No No No No No".

Decent length of course (41km). Ony the Polish one seemed longer at 41.9km.

80 points for Intermarche and 195 for Astana

And probably less races covered at a guess.

Astana do have the fourth most wins this season; most off them at .Pro level.

I won't be able to get that notion out of my head for a while, though wouldn't it be great if they intermingled commentary usage of the Profanosaurus?

A few years ago there wouldn't have been (m)any Quickstep riders in there because about 15 of them would have won a race by now. Now they don't even make top tens that often.

I thought he was fine with the bit about ice cream before crisps and sandwich but it was Hatch who was over-egging things, yet again, banging on about 99s. Do they even have those in Italy? I'd hate to be a in a pub with hatch. Could you imagine if someone spilled a drink or broke a glass...

Nicely said but I think Hatch was quite bad. He was never that bad til recently and I reckon it's mostly down to the producers who want tasty 3-5 minute YouTube highlights, so maybe maybe that explains why he over dramatically yells at a nothing in particular just in case it's needed for the...

I never particularly liked Hatch but I think he now thinks he is some kind of personality because of his Grupetto show and an award he somehow won. After this Giro I'd say he's even more irritating than Jed Cox. Robbie McEwen has the patience of a saint sometimes.

I only seem to be able to get the choice of English commentary or ambient sound on TNT/Discovery. Am I doing this wrong or am I doomed to hearing Rob Hatch again tomorrow?
