My impression is that the stage was neutralized well before that! ;)
Are they going to let Alpecin cross the finish line hand in hand at the front? Will Quinn Simmons ruin the pity party by a last second sprint shouting "Facts Dont Care About Your Feelings!"

Still lots of drama left for this epic stage 3!

He wasn't squeezing into a tiny gap, and as I have already said, philepsen himself has numerous relegations for dirty moves and dangerous sprinting. So many sprinters do similar things in basically every sprint. I don't think coquard is without fault but people are attributing too much blame to something that happens in a split second, and now want to crucify the guy just because he's from a smaller team

Collapsed lungs and likely a concussion. Broken fingers. Maybe some collarbones? The combination of Jonas and Pog 2023-25 :joycat:

I would expect the Godman to be in peak physical shape before crucifixion or after coming back from the dead.
The question is though if he will always turn water to wine, that would make it hard to pass doping controlls.

If they (organizers) increased significantly the combative prize, we would have more breaks (and fights to get in the break).
Combative prize going to one of the running cows ripping around the pasture spooked by helicopters, cop motorcycles and Wout Van Aert..this race needs an award for staying awake!!

Alcohol seems to be allowed at least on procession stages and after every stage :joycat:

I believe there is only one remaining XC World Cup, in late August, between the end of this week and the World Champs.

Yes you're correct. Well there's one this weekend but he's clearly not going to race that! I wonder after his crash last time whether he's sacked it off.

I hope not, otherwise I wouldn't expect to see him in any big races until CX season.
