    CyclingNews phone APP

The app on my iPhone 5S stopped refreshing on Jan 28. I have written Cycling News from the web site and from the app's help line and Cycling News has not gotten back to me. Anyone have a similar experience or have some advice?

Tour de France stage 10: Tuesday, St-Gildas-des-Bois - Saint Malo

Cavendish grits his teeth and slams into Veelers. A second earlier Veelers said something over his shoulder, must have ****ED off Cavendish! Cavendish's attack is excused because he is SPECIALized./Users/arthurcschneider/Desktop/IMG_9617.JPG

CAVENDISH should not be kicked off tour

I haven't seen any comments here about the attack on Veeler. I don't know why Cavendish is still allowed to compete in this Tour and I don't know why fans aren't out raged. On my first viewing of the race it was very apparent that Cavendish purposely took Veeler out and repeated viewings show...

    Wide shoes

Custom not the answer. WHO MAKES WIDE SHOES? I have purchased custom shoes from D2. In over ten years I have purchased 3 pair. But I can't afford them any longer. He wants $1000-1450 for a pair!! The last pair I got said' Hecho en Mexico'. There is nothing wrong with that, but don't charge for...

    California Becomes War of Words

Who will win Tour of California 2012?

I agree this 'race' is a sham and shouldn't receive recognition form UCI

2012 Tour of California May 16 stage 4: Sonora - Clovis 209.6 km

Cycling fans should be outraged! 14,000 feet of climbing and the entire peloton finishes in a bunch! This "race" is a sham. Every year it gets worse. Even Phil Ligget seems bored and he usually enjoys listening to himself mispronouce riders' names.

    Cavendish helmet foil/sheath

Pictures show Cavendish winning the Worlds with a sheath over the holes in his Specialized helmet. A couple years back Lazer (?) did the same thing with covers that featured the Lion of Flanders. Covering the holes in helmets when it's cold makes sense to me. Why do we need so much...

Carbon frame materials, what does it mean?

When I look at different frame manufacturers I come away very confused when they list the types of carbon used in their frames. I recently looked at Battaglin: they say their frames are: T 1200HM/ M30 HM-3K TWIL what the heck does that mean? Another brand touts carbon made by Mishubishi...

    ORBEA: Basque workmanship or Chinese?

Where ever Obrea Orcas are made they are hard to find! Orbea USA will not sell frames direct and refer me to dealers, who no longer carry Orbea. None of the half dozen dealers I was referred to carry Orbea any longer. I just wanted to check out a 2011 and I can't find one to view. I can not...

    ORBEA: Basque workmanship or Chinese?

If bikes are made in China, because labor is cheaper, why isn't that savings passed on the rider?

    ORBEA: Basque workmanship or Chinese?

The comments were interesting. I agree that point of manufacture does not mean a product is of high quality or low, very fine bike frames can come from Chinese plants. Orbea likes to put in it's ads references to the Pyrenees. I own a 08 Orca, have had no problems, but am beginning to dislike...
