How can this review be considered relevant when the 605/705 is only referenced in regard to mounting style?? The 205/305 is not the benchmark here. The 605/705 *long ago* replaced the 205/305 as Garmin's flagship cyclocomputer. Are there any editors that read the reviews prior to going live?

Bingo, try moving your cleat back on the shoe (therefore your foot moves forward relative to the pedal) effectively giving you better leverage and straining your achilles/calf a lot less.

Road brake levers do not pull enough cable by themselves to be a viable match to linear pull (V) brake arms. There are some companies that make a cam that sits in place of the brake "noodle" that you would have to get if you want to go V brake while still using your road style brake lever...
