I was there at this arrival in Verdun in 1993 - it's my region!! I saw Lance after this stage during the TV show after the race. I remember his interview following this first win in le tour de France. The guy who finished 4th is Dominique Arnould current directeur sportif in the Europcar team.

i am angry! it's a pity to cancel the stage at the last moment. La préfecture des bouches-du-rhône really sucks and makes fun of the organisers. i cannot believe they merely cancel the stage. :mad:

I am sad for Andy but he suffered today and had to leave the race. He could not breathe well. Should be at le tour du haut var though ! :)
