    I wonder if Nibali will try to send a message today? I think I he was so angry the other day when he crashed because he wanted to deliver a message on that stage. I think he'll try to win today.

    Some great racing today. Over terrific-looking countryside. I find that 1,800 metres to the finish line after the Cauberg a bit of an anticlimax tho. Does it really work? Maybe, since all the favourites were there in the finale...

    Surely the country that brought us Bauer, Hejesdal, et al, belongs on a list that includes Poland, Slovenia, and Denmark (with no disrespect to any of those countries and their place in cycling)?
