Kimmage unleashes hell, counter-sues Verbruggen & McQuaid

    Ah, that makes sense.

Armstrong's tour weight over the years

I remember reading that article and thinking it odd for Ashenton to speculate on his height and even entertain the notion that he might be as short as 5'5". Better off sticking to harder facts. Not that it really matters now :)

Livestrong taking control of the global conversation

Oooooh, check out the big brain on foxy! :) As it happens, I'm reading the second volume of Ian Kershaw's biography of Hitler and couldn't avoid drawing parallels.

    Big Thanks to Race Radio

Thanks Race Radio for all the info over the last 2 or 3 years. Thanks also for answering the one question I posted (regarding UCI finances - didn't get to thank you at the time)

The World According to Lance - 4 Corners

I mean he has cachet among some members of this household (and a fair few other households I suspect)

The World According to Lance - 4 Corners

The fact that Kerrie O'Brien is named as having a hand in it adds cachet. My poor suffering other half is even prepared to sit down and watch it this evening.

Phil Liggert claims Federal investigators paid people to lie about Armstrong

I missed Masterracers post originally and just saw the video: facial expressions remind me of Bill Clinton during his most famous speech.

    USADA - Armstrong

That swimming race when he was 12...? Oh... you mean the Vuelta... :D

    USADA - Armstrong

So, given there is a limited number of National Federations of meaningful size, how does the UCI's budget compare to that of USAC? Or USADA... Or USOC... WADA? (guessing it pales here...). The fact that the UCI can come out and 'admit' that one of Armstrong's donations was for testing equipment...

    USADA - Armstrong

Not entirely off topic: I was asked by a friend at work who is only starting to entertain seriously the possibility that LA might actually have doped (smart guy with a life long interest in cycling and triathlon but seems to struggle to make the leap) how the UCI is funded. Just had a look and...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

I think you give Tomolaris too much credit. I suspect (as Stingray34 was saying) that he really is that dim. Another one he came out with after the end of the stage reading his notes "Michael Rogers has said that at 65kg, he is the lightest he has been since he was 16 years of age" [Edit...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

Tomolaris: "This reminds me of 1996 when Bjarne Riis was being upstaged by an up and coming young rider by the name of Jan Ulrich" Does he have any idea what he is saying. That said, I have to agree with him!

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

Worth keeping in mind how the 'milieu' develop and maintain their own norms. After spending half the day reading through this thread and then seeing Cadel being interviewed I failed to detect anything resembling resentment. Can't help thinking though about Bassons writing I his column...

    USADA - Armstrong

I thought for a minute that we had more details on the rest of the $500 odd K Sylvia Schenk alluded to. Still this should be intersting...
