Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession)

Re: Re: [It's just a figure of speech that the rest of us understand. Please try to not have a stroke. We all know what Wonderboy is, enjoy the spectacle! He still manages to raise my bloodpressure. I just wish he'd gently fade away as the liar, bully, cheat and overall worst publicity...

    Doping in XC skiing

You're full of sh!t. Time to scrap this thread. Hasn't got anything to do with cycling, only interesting for 10 mentally challenged guys in Norway and a complete waste of bandwidth.

    Kristoff

Re: Read TCGAK's testing-results year-on-year, and you'll get the drift. I commend you for being suspicious, but are you entirely sure your girlfriend isn't cheating on you? The chance of a head cardiologist at a university hospital in Norway instigating doping on his step-son for personal...

    Kristoff

Re: Re: Barking up the wrong tree, Hitch. TGAK is just that. TCGAK. You should take some time out and travel to Norway and meet up with me and I'll show you the ropes. Alexander has built, year-on-year, his capacity, and there's really NO reason to suspect him. His step-father and trainer is...

ranking the big 4 by cleanliness!

Re: Yeah, back in the stone age of 2003. Big effing deal! Last decade: None. And, he's believable.

ranking the big 4 by cleanliness!

The problem with EBH is that he sucks. Under those circunstances you can include a lot of more riders!! The problem is that Sky made him what he is today. It's quite amazing how a supposedly amazing team with the best resources available can reduce a great talent to a mediocrity. Thank you, GB!

ranking the big 4 by cleanliness!

    1. Hushovd 2. TGAK 3. EBH 4. Ryder Hesjedal Ok, obviously a slight national bias here, but there's never been an iota of evidence, and bloodpass-figures are through-and through consistent. Actually, 3 of them are probably too dumb to want to delve in dubious substances.

Did Katusha buy Free Doping Ticket 2015 ?

Most stupid thread of the year! Don't know anything, suspect everything, throw your suspicions out there. Hope that anyone bites.

Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession)

Reduced ban for Lance? No way! A rider who might very well have suffered from self-inflicted cancer and used dope and his illness to sell a lie to cancer-ridden children has done enough to tarnish the reputation of cycling to earn him his lifetime ban. I treat a lot of patients with cancer, and...

    2015 Paris-Nice, stage 1: St Remy-Contres 197km

No, no beast, but he certainly has improved season-on-season the last few years. You ain't seen nothing yet! I predict another monument in his bag this season, and the longer it is the better he performs. Not the worst of qualities to posess.

    Astana Licence to be withdrawn?

Fantastic news. Padova investigation is probably what tipped the scales... Bound to be referred to CAS, and eventually we'll know.

    Tour of Qatar (2.HC) 8/2 - 13/2

I believe it maybe wasn't Haller, but the current U-23 WC, Sven Erik Bystr?m, who signed with Katusha last year. He ended up 19th, with Haller and Paolini at 30 and 31. (Sorry, saw the footage now. It was indeed Haller.)

    Team Astana's shameful legacy

There's really no shame in making an about-face when new evidence comes to light. NOT doing it, saying in-effect that "I've made my decision, regardless of any new evidence or what anybody might say", is just plain stoopid. Cookson is cooked if the UCI doesn't realize the all-too obvious blunder...

    Thor's book

I call BS. Thor going down the Col D'Aubisque in 2011 is legendary. I was there, and he picked up all climbers passing him going down. Nibbles is good, but I've seen him in the Ity alps choosing the wrong line (Giro in 2013), real cringeworthy. Nothing like Bambi on ice like Wiggins, but still...
