I really don't know what to say... -Unless there is a medical reason for packing it in, riding out the TdF might be good for his legs/form. -Obviously if there is an issue, stopping ins wise. Anyway, keep fighting, see you soon RE!

Too off topic, but winning all six of the finals that they played in is a fact. Its not distorted because people who know that, also know that he played 15 seasons and therefore he didn't win the finals in every year that he played (and the years with the Wiz :eek: !).

As a reminder, I've been watching pro cycling since the late '80s so I've seen many o gifts, that doesn't mean that I have ever liked watching them. Other 'kings' have won eight so why not another one?

He can hope that his legs come around, but so many things have to be battering him emotionally that may be hard to overcome. JV catching him was a huge dagger through his psyche.

If he has a GREAT winter without injury or illness, and stays near his race weight as well, I would not be surprised to see a definite step.

We've discussed it here a few times: -Name another professional sport/event that would 'give' the win to the other racer/team/etc. -Like TP said, his team works hard to win, he works hard to win.

He's still in 10th even after a bad day. Sorry for the repeat, but I don't like placing GC expectation on the support riders because their focus is not on themselves. That being said, I would love to see him finish in the top 5-10 though.

I have Peackock in the USA and they showed a quick shot of him coming back through the cars, and one of the talking heads (not David Byrne) said something about him stopping/nature break/struggling early. If he got dropped on Haut...what ever, but he was struggling all day. Maybe a gastro...
