Contador? Did you watch him before? Maybe if he was in 2007-2010 form he'd have a chance, but not now.

I really hope Andy tries to get into the break tomorrow so he can salvage his tour.

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

Even with a 1.5% weight advantage Bertie still can't keep up, oh how the mighty have fallen.

Why go for classics when you can win the tour?

What should happen to Sky for getting food on Stage 18?

Both should be DQ'd and banned for 2 years :p

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

I think that if some combination of Contador, Valverde, Quintana, Purito and a few support riders team up on the Col de Tamie Froome will crack, I hope someone has the gall to attempt it.

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

Given the amount of money these guys make I have no problem with them wishing to supplement their income.

    What's Wrong with Van Garderen?

A decent ride today, but I have to say I'm not all that impressed. Sure, he placed well, but he was also given an 8 minute lead before Froome and co. came after him and there wouldn't too many good climbers in the break. Very disappointing ride by TVG, he should've been able to finish it.

Maillot à Pois Rouges: Who will take it?

I said Contador because I think he'll get a lot of points when he goes on a solo attack.

Which stage will Chris Froome give Richie Porte as a gift?

If it gets to the point where Froome is able to gift one to Porte I'll be very saddened at what this great sport has become.

    What's Wrong with Van Garderen?

There's nothing wrong with him, it's just that too much was expected of him. Last year he came 5th, but before that 82nd (although he would've been 22) so last year was probably a big over achievement.

Maillot Blanc: Who will take it?

Very impressed by Quintana, he had a good ride. Good to see Phil and Paul giving him credit instead of slurping the American boy (Talansky) like always.

Voted for the good ole Canadian boy Tuft :)

    Attacks tomorrow and Saturday?

I was just curious about something: do you think we could see a big attack on both alpe d'huez and on Mont Revard Saturday? Those attacks would feature 95km of riding, and approximately 56km of climbing :D Is something like this possible for one rider to do, or would they simply be gutted after...
