This is great. Before there was nothing to watch in the last week except the 3 MTFs. Now we have the last 10km of Stage 21. I calculate a 7.5% viewing increase.

After a day to think about, decided that route isn't too bad. But not good, either. A solid 3 out of 10 with breakdown on watchability. 10 stages that I won't watch at all (stages 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 13, 15, 17, 20, 21) 7 stages to watch last 10km to 20km (2, 6, 7, 10, 12, 16, 19) 4 stages to watch...

My guess is the first broadcasted race will be Saturday, Round 1 of the HSF System/old TOI TOI Cup. But haven't checked if it will be full race or highlights.

NBC/Peacock always had it because its an ASO race. But IMHO it hasn't been boring since they added the gravel sectors and more undulating finale.

Even more amazing when one remembers that, of the top 10 riders in the peloton, 2 just waltzed into cycling after careers in the "lower sports" of ski stomping and fishball packing, another was a footballer until late teens and 2 others were primarily cyclocross riders who dominated road races...
