I wanted to do a fun poll, considering a GC poll is rather pointless at this point. As a reminder, stage 21 is not a pure flat sprint anymore, and with the way the peloton rides now who knows..

Ten years ago this would be a sprint, but I cannot see a couple of these riders not going aggressive for a win. Ultimately, if MVDP isn’t in the break the previous day, I think this is his playground.

1km at 6% does not seem enough to drop a half decent rouleur like Milan, especially with 4 Lidl trucks to drag back any attacks that get 10 seconds or whatever.

If merlier wins there is no justice in the world, but given his skill on cobbled sprints, that's who I picked.

Tough call, I'd like to go with MVDP but he may feel some fatigue in his legs. So, maybe Merlier cause he's been pretty quiet since stage 9...

Quinn Simmons will unlease the mullet on Paris! You've seen Wout do the "red bull gives you wings" celebration and you've heard of the Eagle of Durango/Andorra, but wait until you see the Eagle of 'Murica cross the line first! It'll be yuge!

The thing is, I think it's getting increasingly likely the green jersey will not be decided before this stage and if it's still up for grabs for MvdP he is gonna try to do absolutely everything in his power to let the race explode here. I think this stage might actually get quite exciting.

I expect Van Der Poel to get into the break for sprint points on Tuesday, and if Milan doesn’t win into Valence it gets extremely tight.

Honestly, I'm getting less certain Valence is even gonna be a sprint. That stage is not pancake flat and with a team having a strong interest in preventing a big peloton to reach the finish I feel like everything can happen.

We actually have a Stage 21 in which the yellow jersey can change hands and people actually care what rider from Uno-X or TotalEngergies wins from the breakaway? smh

A sprint between Pogacar and MVDP for first while Milan is trying to finish high enough for the green fight would be top tier.

If the situation requires him to fight all day on Stage 20 for points then I think he will be lacking that bit of top end explosive ability to hold Pogacar if he launches it on the final Montmartre with a savage lead out from Narvaez.

With how tired everyone is it feels like it could well be an Asgreen/Abrahamsen kind of day.

I don’t think he wins on Wednesday but could be saved for Green by how generously positioned the sprints are in the 2 big Alpine stages very early before any major climbs are tackled.

I picked De Lie. If he or Nys can get a win here after 2 hard first weeks I would be happy. Or Mathieu winning (green) here.

But I’m gonna “predict” that Milan won’t get past stage 19 and Mathieu (or Pogi) is already points leader.
