I regret making the Mou thread

The mou-meme was perhaps tangentially funny last Tour. Been quite a while since he morphed into the kind guy who is funny at the start of the party, but at the end is dead-drunk, spouting nonsense and just wont leave. Time to stop giving him oxygen.

Teams & Riders Matteo Jorgenson and his inexorable rise to the top

Kids, I put inexorable in the title as he'll one day be free of the yoke of Jonas.

    The worst of race profiles

How about we do a homage to the worst unipuerto stages of La Vuelta, just set in China? No? Ok - how about we throw a long finishing descent into the mix in addition? YES! THAT'S THE GOOD STUFF

Teams & Riders Mattias Skjelmose: The Blond Assassin

I foresee a conundrum on whether to rename this into "The bald assassin" by 2027.

    2025 Giro CQ Game

Just like Mikel himself I'm out of the running already on the first stage, though his pain is markedly bigger than mine.

Teams & Riders The Remco Evenepoel is the next Eddy Merckx thread

Should accept that the injuries have left him with a too narrow base for a GC-tilt at the Tour. Target a few stage wins and build for a sustained peak in the fall rather than wear himself out. Could start to fear for his longevity

    Liege-Bastogne-Liege as a spectator

Yes! Rode the sportive which was both wonderful and excruciating. The tarmac of Flanders and Wallonia is probably equally bad, but feel it most with the repeated descents of the latter. And riding the parcours before seeing the warriors take it on really makes you appreciate their effort even...

    Liege-Bastogne-Liege as a spectator

I’m going full Marco Haller and attacking on the flats to have a head start on the climbs.
