Hi,
I run what is the best multi-season dynasty fantasy game in cycling over at FirstCycling:
We are 18-20 managers who compete with one team each
Each team has between 27-30 riders
Each rider can only be on one team
The teams are built through drafts
Each team has a budget of 400 Gadrets (our monetary unit)
Riders are put on 1- or 2-year contracts with wage of your choice
Each draft pick can be used to sign an unattached rider or steal a rider from another team by doubling his wage
The teams are then ranked by how many points their rider score throughout the season. Any leftover wage units also give points.
The draft order for the following season is this season results, but reversed to even the game out.
The game has run for 10(!) seasons now and really adds to the enjoyment of us participants. All UCI-level races give points, so signing riders who farm the Asian circuit etc. is always a fun punt. The multi-season timeline also means we have managers with different strategies - some spending Gadrets to secure Noah Lindholm whilst other go full retirement home to try to win the season.
We have one free space in the men's game, but time is ticking. Any entrant would have to be ready tomorrow and the draft for the 2026-season takes place this Friday and Saturday evening.
The rules are a bit more through here.
Feel free to message me if interested!
