I fitted my sexy wheels that Giuseppe built for me (32 spokers ;) ) to my bike yesterday, and they look hot, hot, hot 32 spokes is the way to go people!!

    Specialized at it again

I make a conscious effort to never buy from company's like this who bully their customers or competitors. McDonalds is another one that relies heavily on corporate thuggery so they'll never get a cent out of me either (and their "food" tastes like complete s**t anyway).

    Matthew Keenan appreciation

Agreed, I'm quite a fan of Matt's commentating too. I like that he doesn't feel the need to talk for every single second of a race, especially when there's nothing interesting happening. For me, he is cycling's answer to Martin Tyler....says something when there's something to say and stays...

Speed and comfort: 23c vs. 25c

Seems like there's no single correct answer, so yes, it basically comes down to personal preference. There's plenty of info if you google for it. From my reading, 25's have lower rolling resistance and will provide a more comfortable ride but will be slightly less aerodynamic and slightly...

Speed and comfort: 23c vs. 25c

Would you recommend 23's or 25's (GP 4000s) for my new wheels?

    SBS Benny Hill clip

I thought there was meant to be a (self-imposed) limit on how much advertising SBS include in their programmes. It seems like there's an ad break every 10 minutes (at least) during the tour coverage and each lasts about 3 minutes. It's almost as bad as the commercial channels  The Benny...

    "Tour de Bore"

Highlights have been few and far between this year. Some of the new climbs have been interesting but overall it's not going to go down as a classic. And the easiest way to liven things up - get rid of the radios!!!!

    Phil and Paul

I haven't heard Paul dip into his suitcase of courage yet during this tour :D Agree about Keenan - he's good, and only says something when there's something to say. How about Keenan and Kelly for a truly minimalist commentary :). Tomalaris seems out of his depth even in the hosting role...

    Bike Porn

I saw one of these in a shop a couple of weeks ago - horrible paint job. The gold looks cheap and washed out and the whole thing looked tacky and incredibly underwhelming. I would have expected much better considering Colnago's reputation, price tag and the significance of the frame OK, I've...

    Colnago Master Frame

    That is lovely :)

    Colnago Master Frame

I think you might have misunderstood. I think the OP is putting Di2 on his current frame so he'll have the DA group that he's currently using as a spare. The spare DA is what's going on the Colnago. At least that's how I read his post. Should be a nice build when it's done

Now those are just stunning - must stop myself from thinking about having a set made !!!!! Do they come with a cassette option?

Just out of curiousity, what do the wheel gurus here think is the sort of maximum weight for using less than 32 spokes on a wheel (answers in kilo's please - I don't understand imperial and I'm too lazy to do the conversion ;) )
